PhD, Molecular Biology

• Brief Synopsis of Research - My project focuses on discovery and development of a specific anti-cancer compound for the treatment of BCR-ABL positive leukemia. A novel drug discovery demands a rigorous screening design and utilization of diverse approaches for target identification. During my PhD I have established a co-culture based high-throughput drug screening where we identified a novel anti-cancer compound that is more potent than the current standard of care and is in the process of further development.

MSc, Biomedicine

• Thesis - "PIK3CA Mutation analysis and drug response in Her2 positive breast cancer".

MSc, Plant Biotechnology

• Thesis - "In vitro propagation of Jatropha curcas".

Data Science

• Data Science certificate program provided me with the necessary knowledge base and useful skills to tackle real-world data analysis challenges. The program covers concepts such as probability, inference, regression, and machine learning, data wrangling with dplyr, data visualization with ggplot2 and version control with git and GitHub using RStudio.

• The training covers general topics such as law and ethics of animal experimentation, experimental set-up and application procedure.
